Good afternoon everybody and excited to have all the details for this Saturday in place and I'll do my best to summarize below. The goal of the day...no pun intended.is make it an enjoyable experience for the entire soccer program and to have all participants at the complex at some point throughout the day! Holding out hope that the weather cooperates as there will be no rain date.

Individual and Team Photos : With so many teams this year (that is a good thing), we have the schedule running from 8:30 through 2:00. Keep in mind that this is a club fundraiser and encourage members to at least order the basic package if possible. The information on offerings can be found at this link: Photo Form. Please plan to arrive with your team at least 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Micro Uniform Distribution : All the micro teams should have been notified of their coach and team color and you can pick up your uniform starting at 9:30 until 11:00. You will be given a shirt, shorts, socks and we'll hand out your picture order form at that time as well.   • AED Presentation (11:00 am) - Something that I'm particularly proud of is that LSC was chosen by the Heroes Foundation following our application to receive an AED for use by the club. They have will be coming to the complex to present this to our Board and my hope is to have a crowd present to help show our appreciation!   • SJGSL Home Games (11:00 - 3:30) - There will be plenty of home soccer games to watch on Saturday and I encourage you to show your support for them by stopping by and cheering them on! LSC schedules can always be found at the following link: http://www.logansoccerclub.com/clubsite/?p=19784
  • Concessions - We will have the concession stand open and will have lunch provided by Papa Luigi's. We will only be accepting cash at the stand, so please plan accordingly. A visit by Mister Softee is likely in store as well...you probably thought you were done hearing that jingle!
  • Union Game Raffle - We will also have a raffle going for a chance to win three tickets and parking (~$100 value) to one of the upcoming Union games on either SEPT 23 (Sporting KC) or OCT 21 (Red Bulls). These will be $10 per chance and all proceeds will be going to the LSC. Raffle tickets will be sold at the concession stand throughout the day with the drawing to be held following the days festivities...you will not need to be present to win the tickets!
  • Variety of Games - My hope is to have kids knocking soccer balls around throughout the day and for that we'll have the hockey rink converted into a soccer court, a soccer-tennis net out for use, and plenty of small sided PUGG soccer nets for any pick-up games. Watching kids embrace a sport and wanting to play it on their own is something that needs to be nurtured and that is our ultimate goal!
I'll end with saying that there is no way a day like this could be achieved without a good deal of help and we are still in need of that for certain areas. Any volunteer position during the day would require at most an hour of your time, unless you are willing to offer more. The main areas and point of contacts are listed below and I'd ask that you reach out to them directly if you are able to assist at any point during the day.
